san francisco. instead it served as a sad reminder to see how ill prepared and in adequate staffed we are. on wednesday evening the world witnessed our city shamed and embarrassed. residential process damaged. defacing businesses with graffiti. public urination. fires being discharged illegally. physical -- altercation and gun violence. thesen suing post game mob scenes in san francisco painted a different source, the san francisco police department in a run away shutdown. what did our city government do about this? they rewarded the city and fans with a victory parade, of course. go figure. most educators and parents know that you cannot promote healthy development and teach important life values to children. if they are continuously rewarded for their bad behavior. i don't know how our city gets this. the city and staff should be held accountable for footing the bill for properties and damage caused as a result of the relay. they have acknowledged the previous history of probability offen suring.

if san francisco you understand administrative fees are being waived. in (inaudible) there are no fee waivers. in concord they also waive the administrative fees but they do that for all people who are towed, not just the residents of concord. in kansas city the tow fee is discounted 50 percent and there's a 4 day great period for the storage. in indian nap police nothing is waived. in baltimore county, likewise nothing is waived and the same is true for the pennsylvania state police where we are conducting a pilot. there are incidents in all of these jurisdictions where there will be extenuating circumstances where the police department might choose to waive more of the fees just due to the circumstances so that's what we see from the other jurisdictions and then we also hear from all of our police department clients that they also are very mindful of the fact that many of the individuals, there is insurance coverage in place so they tend to try to incorporate that into whatever policy they put into place as well. >> i mentioned this at the beginning o

, and we shared being big fans of san francisco giants and the san francisco 49ers and she was actually, a very avid fan of both. mary was found dead in her home on august 26th and the cause of death is blunt force trauma. and according to her neighbors, her boyfriend of 12 years, who she lived with, she would hear her boyfriend slamming her against the walls during arguments. mary did not confide in this and although i loved her i never knew that this was happening a group of us attend every court hearing, for joules, and he has been accused of homicide, one of our friends has said that following this process and the judicial process is the most painful thing that she will ever do in her life. i am a human rights lawyer, and usually this kind of thing is a professional thing for me and not a personal thing, and i have been living in porter prince and i work for an organization that represents the victims of violence and we help to prosecute cases just like this case. and unfortunately there, the judiciary and the law enforcements don't have the political will to pursue cases like this.

finally, the san francisco, on the planning side of the san francisco transportation plan has been kickingve been coordinating with the local agencies and the regional agencies weaving together a lot of the studies that i was just mentioning and the muni rail and the planning and water front work and the freeway management study, and these will all come together, to a mini update of the san francisco transportation plan that we just did last december and most of that plan will still, service very well as we move into the regional planning through the regional transportation plan and we do want to take up the new and emerging issue and priorities that are identified through the recent studies. and so finally, let's see on the project delivery side, and it is moving forward and projecting well and the ramp is demolished and this is off of i-80 and coming into the city and there is a minor traffic change and so we will keep the folks posted on the website there and on the 6th street i was pleased to celebrate the addition of a new signal with commissioner kim and the mayor and prop k and all
