san francisco's sales tax has had the weakest recovery in california and in san francisco, it's belowion, but it's particularly announced in the northeast sector of the city. where the leisure and hospitality jobs are concentrated is where we've seen the sales tax drop and we're not seeing office workers and we're not seeing tourism and we're not seeing population. so why is this happening in the office market? i just have a couple more slides. there was earlier in the pandemic when everybody was sort of forced to work remotely, a bit of a disconnect about what would happen after the pandemic with a lot of workers wanting to stay remote and a lot of employers wanting people to come back. a professor at stanford university nick bloom and his colleagues have been doing monthly surveys about working from home and this data comes from that. and what it basically shows through march of this year is that employees are winning that battle. that gap is closing and it's closing by employers conceding that more time will be spent working at home and less time will be spent in the office. when t

i have been a resident of san francisco for 18 years. since being released from jail, in march of this year on charges i don't believe will stand, i have experienced extraordinary distribution in the matter of housing. i believe that someone what may not have been a member of the hot team was arranged to intercept me and bring me to the next door shelter at 1001 polk. where on multiple occasions i woke up with contusions to my ribs. during the time i stayed there off and on, i have contracted at the very least, a plate. i had my wrist broken to prevent me from filling out forms. i have been denied access to phones, my mail and i have been robbed of clothes and other personal items on the site of the shelter. that is just tip of the iceberg. considering the amount of available housing in the city, that everyone who is homeless is not home is a shame and disgrace. thank you for your time. >> clerk: thank you for your comments to the board. are there any members of the public who are here in the chamber who are wishing to speak to the board

we're based in san francisco and oakland. huge gender gap in the music production and recording industry. i started women's audio mission about 19 years ago. it started at city college of san francisco, where a group of students -- again, we were trying to address the lack of women in our classes, and it just grew exponentially from that small group. so wam has programs that serve middle and high school girls, free music production and training and mentoring for them, as well as certification programs for adults in music production and audio production. we have an internship program, and that's where our job placement typically happens. we have conferences that we put on across the country to bring the magic of wam everywhere. and we have an artist residency program that provides free recording residencies in these studios, specifically for bipoc, or black indigenous people of color -- artists that need that support to get an album out or create new work. >> i've always been a singer, and didn't think that i could be a musici
