i'm frank mallicoat. it is 6:00. and developing news from yosemite, where the ntsb starts investigating a deadly plane crash this morning. firefighting pilot dead after his plane crashed into a cliff and then burst into flames. that plane was based out of hollister. kpix 5's andria borba reports, the crash happened yesterday about an hour and a half after the fire broke out on highway 140 in yosemite national park. >> reporter: people here in el portal watched in horror as the plane crashed. we learned that emergency crews finally reached that plane's top of the ridge at the crash site and have confirmed the pilot the only person on board that plane is dead. here is a still image of the flaming wreckage just after the impact. the crash site is near the top of the 2500-foot cliff. the plane was being used to fight a fire inside the western side of yosemite national park. witnesses said the plane looked like it went out of control and came straight down. >> i saw the black smoke cloud going up and went out and took pic
