frank burke gave the ball back to ishikawa after the game.4's jeff pierce spoke to the fan. burke shares why he wanted ishikawa to have the historic ball back. giants fan frank burke was back at work today at his transmission shop in oakdale, relishing the teams pennent winning victory. like many giants fans he has relived the ninth inning walkoff home run over and over. i had a good feeling that we were going to close it out. and ishikawa hits one and when he hit that ball you could tell it was torched. man that ball is coming this way. that ball is going to hit the wall. that ball is not going to hit the wall that ball is coming right at me. i just thought soft hands, soft hands, don't lose this ball. i caught it and then of course the whole place erupted. frank burke returned the ball personally to travis ishikawa. he deserved that ball, he hit it, i was just the lucky guy that was in the right place and held on to it. travis ishikawa rewarded burke with an autographed bat, the giants have provided him with world series tickets. frank will
