i'm frank marzullo. and joining me this morning for our chat is jeff creighton a mother noticed daughter's ears were sticking out farther then she thought they should be. he called them "bat ears" so she tried to tape them down... to help form them while she was still a baby when that didn't work... so after about a month she found a plastic surgeon you said that her daughters ears wouldn't flatten out on their own... and that she needed a splint to shape the ear... the doctor said they were a little late getting her to him... and most mothers bring him their babies almost straight from the hospital. the first pair cost 350 dollars... and they may need to get a second set for 250 dollars the doctor said at least it is cheaper than plastic surgery which can cost around 8- thousand dollars. the doctor said they are painless.. and most babies dont' even notice them. the mother says they have improved.... we don't have a before picture but.. here is the after. there's evidence cigarettes may also be more lik
