rain. ktvu's paul chambers in alamo where trees are down and fences were blown over. paul, what is it like right now? >> frank, we are the weather authority and our meteorologist called it right on the nose. the high wind, as you can see, the rain is coming down. perfect recipe for damage. let me show you right here. part of the tree that came down earlier is right here in this parking spot. i'm telling you, here's some video from earlier. high winds had these trees swirling around in alamo. as the storm blew through, trees came down. one blocked the roadway for several hours taking out power lines and leaving people stranded, preventing them from returning home. there was more damage at a strip mall where firefighters had to use a chain saw to take apart a tree, which landed on a few cars in this parking lot. luckily, no one was hurt and surprisingly, it doesn't appear the tree did any major damage to the vehicles. also, there was a fence that was torn apart and you can see, an officer had to go out and pick up pieces of the fence in the roadway. a woman said part of the fence landed on her car. part of it t
