. >> and i am frank somerville. >> the attack was random. it happened on mother's day.0s. her family says she is now in a coma and may never wake up. ktvu's mike mibach with who investigators are looking for for information about the attack. >> reporter: that assault happened middle of the afternoon in china town and investigators indeed are not only looking for the attacker but looking for a good samaritan who dime the help of -- came to the help of the woman. >> reporter: on sunday, may 10, mother's day, this woman just exited a muni bus and was attacked. >> she was assaulted by black female. struck in the head twice. she did get off the bus and there was a good samaritan who came in contact with the victim and helped her sit down and recover at the scene till she walked home. >> reporter: police say three days later the family found her unconscious and she was taken to the hospital where she remains tonight.
