i'm claudine wong. >> i'm frank mallicoat.ve more on the terror attacks out of london. >> we begin with developing news as the world continues to react to the latest terror attack in britton. britton. the police are visible on the streets of london. many of the victims were taken to this hotel from the area near the london bridge. police are continuing to gather evidence around the bridge this morning as well as in the borough market neighborhood. witnesses say this all started with this white van that ran into pedestrians on the london bridge. they told police it appeared the van was going about 50 miles per hour. the van then stopped in the borough market area, known for restaurants and night life. police say the suspects got out of the van and started stabbing people. people working and dining in one restaurant say the first thing they noticed was a woman that walked in off the street bleeding. then they saw the men with knives. >> they went into the restaurant in front of the street with knives >> how many people did you s

i'm frank mallicoat. >> good morning i am claudine wong.shaping up because we have the windy morning. we do have a big week ahead of us. if you are headed to the sierra you might need your chain. it is interesting we have a storm dropping over northern california and it is mixing up things making it interesting. depending on where you are, bringing beautiful blue skies disrupting the marine layer the clouds and fog have not been able to form look at this gorgeous start partly cloudy skies over the higher elevations temperatures in the upper 50s in santa rosa, 56 san francisco. livermore 58 san jose 60 degrees. a look at storm tracker and here is the system you can see the counterclockwise motion diving further south and when it does it will bring the possibility of showers to the area favoring the higher elevations and the north bay once again bringing sierra snow and you can see the pink and white south of highway 50 with snow levels dropping down to 55 down to 5500 feet. highway 50 and i-80 will be impacted. if you're driving over the nex

wong. >> i'm frank savidge in for frank mallicoat.k about the heat wave that will continue throughout the remainder of this week, right, rosemary. >> until thursday the heat information. friday could be the first day that we see temperatures cool down. we will see them dip here and again. for the most part a warm pattern. take a look at how warm we are out of the gate this morning. santa rosa, 71. san francisco reporting 70. oakland 70. livermore low 70s. san jose 74. for many folks, especially inland, right now may be the best time to be outdoors. the numbers are going up from here. you can see the shot into san francisco. a bit hazy with the spare the air day in place. let's take a look at the 24- hour change on the numbers. 10 degrees warmer in hayward. sf obey 13. up by 10 in santa rosa and inner east bay 5 degrees or so. winds are north and northwest. we have a bit of an on shore breeze. it's light. not going to help us out, at least the inland communities where it has been comfortable and will remain comfortable on the coastline
