this happened overnight here at the ben franklin bridge.estioned by the delaware river port authority. the bridge is opened now but overnight the ben franklin bridge was closed for an hour and a half as all this was going on. this began around 1:00 a.m. police say two men climbed up the center pillar of the ben franklin bridge. their plan was to do some spray painting up there apparently but they got trapped up on the pillar and then they couldn't get down. police teams were called in. they put on harnesses to climb up that pillar and retrieve those two men with their spray paint cans. that bridge by the way is 135 feet above the river. the towers are 382 feet tall. nobody was injured going up or coming back down. those men remain in custody and are being questioned. police haven't said yet what kind of charges or fines they face but this all remains under investigation. we're live near the ben franklin bridge, katherine scott, channel6 "action news. >> katherine thank you for that. >>> new here on "action news" a man shot 13 times is cling

we have sky6 and there is the ben franklin bridge and we are expecting a mix of clouds and sun earlybly sticking with that for most of the day. starting out with a temperature of 77 degrees in philadelphia. some of our outlying suburbs in the 60's. dewpoints at 69. it will probably drop off a little bit as were he he we go through the day. winds are fall currently. they stay light today. as we take a look at satellite and radar you can see a fair amount of clouds around early with some breaks possible. and there are those early showers that look like they're streaking past mostly the poconos, maybe the lehigh valley gets clipped with a little bit of that. 76 degrees by 8 o'clock. and by 10 o'clock, 80 degrees. so very quickly we are seeing those temperatures bump up. by noon 85 and your high today is probably around 99 degrees at 3 o'clock and notice how i am posting the possibility of a spotty thunderstorm later this afternoon and this evening. this is not a washout for your fourth of july but some of are you going to see an isolated pop-up shower or thunderstorm today. high tempera
