. >> reporter: she decided to walk a bit farther this morning to avoid the bus stop where franklin amobi was shot and killed tuesday morning before 7:00 a.m. >> i'm going to walk down to the next block because i don't want to be in this area whatsoever at all. >> reporter: police are looking for a suspect and a motive. people who live in this quiet residential community tell me they're shocked by the murders that happened here just 24 hours ago. a man told me earlier this morning he waited here with his girlfriend because she was too scared to wait for the bus by herself. neil richards said he was friends with amobi, a popular rapper in the local music community known as frank diggy. >> he was an up-and-coming person. he was doing pretty good. i heard he got a good job, you know. his girl. he got his life together. >> reporter: according to maryland online court records, amobi was no stranger to trouble. he had faced charges including drug possession, theft and assault. on tuesday, police used dogs to search for evidence in his murder, also two cars were towed from the scene. one his fam
