you heard about the raiders end of the deal from fred inglis. the 49ers, after the beating their quarterback took against the saints, they went out and signed a veteran. eight years in the nfl but last played for the u.s. football league. he last threw a pass in 2008. as a matter of fact, when the 49ers gave him a call, he was coaching high school football as an assistant in north carolina. he is a bit rusty but he will see at least a little bit of playing time. he has been working out with the 49ers this past week. now we go to joe fonzi who would like to get things squared away on the offensive side of the ball. part of that is to tighten up the offensive line. >> reporter: you are right about that. the 49ers certainly have some specific areas tonight where they want to see improvement. one thing san francisco does know about its performance in last week's game against the ain't, the offensive line play has to improve. alex smith was sacked twice and hurried throughout his brief time in the game. collin cap kapernick was sacked more during his
