some showers are 30 miles to the west of frederick as we speak. we've been tracking those on doppler radar. but it's been hanging north of winchester. no lightning and one downpour getting ready to cross the line into southern sections of jefferson county. everything drifting towards potomac harpers ferry and areas close to washington county. 89 the high at reagan national. 88 is the average. the record high in the state back in 1954, 103 degrees. temperatures will stay at average. 85 in frederick. 86 in fredericksburg. the dew point temperatures help calculate relative humidity and provide agoid of comfort in -- a guide of comfort in warm days. still very comfortable. 50's and lower 60's. but the farther south more moisture laden air is detected and that's going to be pushed in our direction. temperatures comfortable over the east coast. to the west you find higher humidity, but there are no extreme temperatures in the eastern two-thirds of the country. we don't expect that at all. we expect the trend to be average or below average for some time
