we're getting a look at a person who tried to blow up an atm in fredericksburg. here are surveillance photos showing the suspect coming up to the atm with an explosive. a bank employee was the first to spot the damage at a virginia credit union. the machine was not damaged to the point where they could take money. it did continue to operate. four juvenile have been accused of torching a playground. the fire caused about $160,000 in damage. the suspects' names are not being released. >> and idaho college professor has a unique effort to try to find big foot. he plans to build a plant to track down the legendary creature. he says he will have a high-tech equipment and infrared cameras that will give researchers a the best chance to spot the sasquatch. >> all types of wildlife studies, even the geological studies could be conducted with data that could be garnered from an era ship -- airship like this. >> he is raising money to build the plant. he hopes to have it in the air by the end of the spring. >> maybe he can find the heavy low gas prices. -- the yeti low gas

. >>> a bomb scare this morning at a bank in fredericksburg. police say it looks like someone tried to blast open an atm. keith russell has the latest from the news4 live desk. keith? >> wendy, police say their surveillance video shows someone walking up to the atm around 4:00 this morning. he put something down near the machine moments later and explosion. if he was trying to blow open the atm, it did not work. it's still standing. believe it or not, it still works. fredericksburg police, state police and fbi roped off the area this morning. the state police bomb arson unit even suited up to check for more explosives after a bomb sniffing dog picked something up near a dumpster. nothing else was ever found. now, there were no injuries. but that blast was powerful enough to wake up a woman who lived nearby and set off car alarms in the area. keith russell, news4. >>> keith, thanks. two fbi raids in arlington today, officers searched the seventh floor of an office building in the 1900 block of forth meyer drive. that office houses the university

the blast in fredericksburg, virginia, this morning did not do anything to the cash machine at virginia credit union, except give it a few burn marks. a bomb squad technician checked out the scene to make sure it was safe. the bank stayed open all day. police say there is surveillance video of the incident from about 4:00 this morning. they have not made any arrests at this point. >>> gang violence may be responsible for the murder of a teenager in prince george's county. he was 14 years old and he was shot early this morning in louisdale. pat collins is live at the police headquarters where they're trying to piece together exactly what happened. pat? >> reporter: wendy, a 14-year-old hanging out with gang members ends up dead, shot and killed in a drive-by. the victim, eliez reyes. he goes by the name of cheche. reyes shot and killed this morning. he was 14 years old. police describe it as a gang-related murder. here's why. >> we've determined that the victim was with at least two known gang members early this morning when the murder occurred. >> was the victim involved in the gang? >>

still some lower 40s just to our south around fredericksburg over toward southern maryland.ls. this is what it feels like outside. it feels like 37 in d.c. it feels like 22 lonely degrees up in hagerstown. these are the numbers you have to dress for come tomorrow. those chilly numbers. if you're looking for the snow just head on out to western maryland. they're still under that winter storm warning and will be piling it up big time around 12 inches for storm totals when we say after tomorrow afternoon the winter storm warning goes until 1:00 tomorrow afternoon. we'll get up above the ground and check out the storm departing up across new england. and this batch of activity is going to hit the upslope areas of the mountains. those are the slopes facing the northwesterly wind and then the air will dry out on the other side of the mountain range. we're not going to see any of this moisture here in the form of any snow. we're just going to have those gusty winds. actual lows around 30 tomorrow morning and the high right around 38. again, feeling like the 20s throughout the day.
