so freedman was involved in businesses of michael cohen. we know investigators are looking into the taxi medallion business as part of their broad investigation of his personal financial dealings. whatever freedman might know about michael cohen, how he operated, did business with, in terms of his agreements. cohen has recently refinanced some of these taxi medallions. he might know how cohen handled those trance actions and we know they're looking into the personal and flinancial dealing. if he does cooperate with them, he might be able to explain a lot of how cohen operated. and that will help investigators follow the money and understand the tactics, the partners and just what else michael cohen was doing, wolf. >> yeah, kyra, standby. i want to get back to gloria. on your reporting, so bottom line right now, are they any closer at all the president of the united states actually sitting down with robert mueller and his team and answering questions any time soon? >> you know, wolf, i don't think we know the answer to that. i mean from our

and this man gene freedman who has just agreed to flip and cooperate with prosecutors, he was michael cohen's main connection to that notoriously mobbed up business. mr. feedman of late has been in a ton of legal trouble himself. mr. friedman has been michael cohen's partner in the taxi bids for years even after new york city regulators banned mr. friedman last year from continuing to manage medallions. mr. friedman was disbarred as a lawyer earlier this month, accused of failing to pay more than 5 million dollar in taxes. he faced four counts of criminal tax fraud and one of grand larce larceny, all felonies, each carries a maximum prison sentence of up to 25 years in prison. he's disbarred. he is banned from the business. he was facing potentially 125 years in prison. now that he's taken this deal to cooperate, he has plead guilty to a single count of evading only $50,000 worth of taxes. if he fulfills the terms of his agreement, he's looking at no jail time at all, just probation as long as he tells them everything he knows. that kind of bargain makes it clear why mr. friedman is c
