two buses exited on fremont street. the other bus was behind it and it should have been attempting to make the same turn, but lost control. first hitting vehicles, then the first bus before it went onto the sidewalk coming to a rest between folsom and howard street. >> this is completely anonymous. >> reporter: robert lyles with ac transit sits the bus company will launch their own internal investigation. police say five people were hospitalized from this crash including both bus drivers, but none of the injuries are considered life threatening. initial reports indicate the driver of the bus that landed on the sidewalk lost control. it's still unclear as to why. >> usually the operators are experienced. they have been with ac transit for a number of years and no indication there have been issues in the past. >> reporter: fremont street has been closed since this accident happened around 9:22 this morning. it has just now because this bus is being moved, then reopened, police are telling us it's still under investigation
