i was so nervous, i never lived anywhere outside of fridays know, andfridays -- fresno, and i got an interview. and then, i got a second interview, and i got more nervous because know the thought of leaving fresno and my family and friends was scary, but this opportunity was on the other side. but i had to try, and lo and behold, i got the job, and my first day was january 14, 2014. every game day was a puzzle, and i have to figure out how to put the pieces together. i have two features that are 30 seconds long or a minute and a 30 feature. it's fun to put that altogetl r together and then lay that out in a way that is entertaining for the fans. a lucky seat there and there, and then, some lucky games that include players. and then i'll talk to lucille, can you take the shirt gun to the bleachers. i just organize it from top to bottom, and it's just fun for me. something, we don't know how it's going to go, and it can be a huge hit, but you've got to try it. or if it fails, you just won't do it again. or you tweak it. when that all pans out, you go oh, we did that. we did that as a t

local fresno fairgrounds with 250 beds and florida, miami-dade county construction underway on a 250 hospital on the fairgrounds there. we reported on that several days ago. officials expect construction to wrap up today and on the state fairgrounds in oregon, the national guard is well on their way to opening a makeshift hospital there to handle the surge in hospital patients. we're seeing cities and counties across the country build outfield hospitals in all kinds of places. and as it turns out in some parts of the country, you can also sail hospital capacity into port. once again, the u.s. naval ship "mercy" arrived in los angeles today. we just spoke with the officer.

in your lives and in my life, i'd like to pay tribute to an iconic woman, an artist in my home of fresno, california. margaret hudson. miss hudson passed away last month, but her legacy lives on in her clay sculptures of california wildlife that can be seen on display throughout the valley. incredible work. from a young age margaret loved to spend time outdoors. hiking in such places as sequoia national park. her appreciation for the beautiful landscape of the central valley would later influence so much of her art work. that we enjoy today. she attended college in new england, and served as a missionary in japan and south korea for several years. but her love that blossomed years later, her love for art where she began sculpting memories of her time in south korea. she became one of the first female art entrepreneurs in fresno when she opened up her own studio in 1972. through the years, margaret expanded her interests in the arts and painting, and held many of her own art shows to display her work and to encourage young artists such as herself, especially women. margaret's art work is

gilroy, monterey, fresno, that looks to be the line. look what happens late saturday, sunday. the system coming down from the north is going to paint some pretty good rainfall. and i should add, the gfs, the european model doubles. it could be an interesting moment by the weekend. until you can see that line. down towards monterey, san benito county. there's an offshore wind. northeast at 26. mount diablo's north at 31 which is leading to some very warm temps. berkeley and oakland 56. half moon bay is 57. napa and fairfield are 39. gilroy 55. so is capitola. low and mid 50s around cupertino, saratoga and also campbell. a lot of rain. same for arizona and not too bad for phoenix and scottsdale. that california producing some rain there. and until it does, it's going to keep the window of rain in the southern and central california with some pretty hefty totals. look at phoenix. inch and a quarter. that's more than palm springs and l.a. if you believe the gfs and by late saturday sunday, we're looking for a system to the north. we'll keep it mild to warm as we head into thursday
