shoreline frost advisories are posted. we're starting out in the 30s right now, so you need a lot of layers. this afternoon will go into the upper 50s and lower 60s under full sunshine inland. one of the areas that has some of the coldest temperatures right now, upper 20s, lower 30s currently. but you see, we bounce back pretty nicely later on this afternoon. we gain about 30 degrees of warmth by 4 p.m. we're in the low 60s under full sunshine, so that will feel nice. here's live doppler seven, along with satellite low pressure over southern california, finally bringing the first winter storm of the season around la. about an inch of rain has fallen over the last 36 hours. that has led to some issues with landslides and mudslides, thanks to the rainfall over some of the burn scars. for us in northern california, this low brought in some cold air this morning. that low will push off to the east over the next 24 hours. by the end of the week, we say bye bye to the chilly temperatures and hello to rain finally returning, and

the frost advisory. the area in the lighter blue there covers the santa cruz mountains, the east bay hills and the east bay interior valleys. the san francisco bay shoreline. we almost never see a frost advisory for that area and for the north bay interior valleys. now the freeze warning covers the santa cruz uh- the santa clara valley. i beg your pardon? santa clara valley and the eastern santa clara hills. so those areas under the frost advisory will see temperatures dropping down to about 32 degrees. those areas under the freeze warning will see temperatures dropping as low as 28 degrees. and here's a look at our projected lows for tomorrow morning. 26 ukiah 28 lakeport. 31 at livermore, 31 at morgan hill and just about every other location on the map will experience low temperatures in the 30s, with the exception of san francisco and san rafael. i'll have more on this and the complete accuweather seven day forecast with more cold mornings to come. a little bit later on. >> i'll be getting bundled up.

we have a few frost advisories out there. not as widespread as what we saw yesterday. so those frost advisories are mainly for the valleys of the north bay, marin county, sonoma county, napa county and the valleys of the east bay. these are areas that are seeing temperatures in the 30s. but again, a lot of areas more than ten degrees warmer compared to this time yesterday. but still, it is certainly chilly where we have those frost advisories 30s on the board for santa rosa sonoma. we are at freezing in danville. but you look around the bay shoreline and we do have areas in the 50s. look at san francisco right now. we're in the upper 50s right now. so it does feel a little warmer than this time yesterday. but we'll have those clear skies this morning leading to a sunny afternoon on the way. in fact, today is a few degrees warmer than yesterday. look at some of these daytime highs back above average, some areas back into the 70s like santa rosa, san jose, a high of 72. later on today, mid and upper 50s around the bay shoreline. but cooler air does arrive this weekend. w

we had a frost advisory this morning. one already prepped for tomorrow morning for the north bay, the inland valleys, santa clara valley, and the santa cruz mountains. overnight temperatures will be dropping off into the 30s once again, so a big area of high pressure over a good portion of the west coast that is keeping us dry. no big changes for today. a chilly morning, a mild afternoon, and then into your friday. this front wants to approach northern california. this will not bring us any rainfall, but it will bring in some more clouds and also send temperatures down by just a few degrees as we do move into your friday. so here we are this afternoon. we have some hazy sunshine out there. and then into your friday morning we'll thicken up the clouds throughout the morning hours, and then partly sunny skies into the afternoon hours. maybe some fog first thing saturday morning to start off the weekend, especially out toward the central valley and then clearing into the afternoon hours for your saturday. and then on sunday
