this is frostburg, maryland. still plenty of snow on the ground in frostburg. tarp from the construction site is flapping in the wind there. 22, the low temperature at dulles airport. the reason i am sharing this with you is is the call this morning so far this winter reagan national, 27. call this morning so far this winter -- coldest morning so far this winter. south of washington, it is typically a little bit warmer. fredericksburg at 45. north is the cold direction. shifting to the west and southwest. it is a little breezy. these are steady winds, not gus ts. 15 miles per hour in martinsburg. locally, we are clear, but in northern maryland, a little bit of cloud cover. not a big deal. a little bit of energy brewing and causing precipitation. we will see some energy push our way late on saturday and into early sunday. ok, first of all, i am not expecting much. but sunday morning pre-dawn cannot rule out a brief flurry or two. not causing traffic problems, but something to talk about. tomorrow morning is going to be another chilly start to the day. 20s early

frostburg feels like 0 right now. cold temperatures and breezy conditions will kick in. the north wind have tried this out a little bit. we still have some clouds in the area, and a fair share of sunshine as well. the main clipper has been shoved down to the south. high pressure is coming in. things are moving rapidly in the atmosphere right now. the next weather maker, because of cold temperatures, it will be snow. it is out in the west moving through the plains states. this normally component, this stuff you see here. low pressure over north texas and oklahoma. a little bit of activity here. it will come across the area beginning late tomorrow. in the longer range, here's where the temperatures are. what we have shaded is at 32 degrees or kohlberg -- colder. 21 below at international falls. watch the trend. here is the time line through the weekend. once we get into next week, like tuesday, all of the cold air gets pushed much farther north, at least in the eastern part of north america. the western part is still pretty cold. there are some changes temperature-wise com
