here is a great time lapse when it was frosty this morning. at this golf and country club in great falls the fair way is white from the thick frost but as the sun comes up, it will turn to a brown color and then green. maybe we can squeeze in a few holes. 23 degrees this morning and now it is 46. widespread 20's this morning and we are approaching 50 degrees. 40 degrees out in winchester. total sunshine outside right now, not even a cloud out there. the nearest cloud cover is to our south in southern virginia. there is still some fog lingering in the southern portions of the shenandoah valley. to our west, we have a weak disturbance in colorado which is bringing an inch or two of snow in parts of kalorama. that disturbance will come east toward to the middle part of the work began making here wednesday. it is not a strong system and it will not have much moisture. there's not much to work with. there is just enough possibly to squeeze out a light rain or a light wintry mix. we are not expecting any accumulation. we will keep an eye on that and
