this is something barack obama and his white house did a lot, jason fuhrman, they would talk about allhe jobs they had created over the course of his presidency. his presidency started in the deepest trough we've had in the economy since the 30s. now we have the same problem with donald trump, he looks at 209,000 was the last jobs report, that sounds like a very big number. but what you're actually looking at is rate of change, how many -- how does it compare to the pace when when you put into context population growth, a lot that goes into that number. what we're finding out is if the economy is basically ticking over, if we're adding the normal number of new workers. then you get a print of about 150,000 new jobs every month. and that varies by about 50,000 plus or minus. so if it's within that band, it doesn't mean anything. >> but, brendan, this turnaround that the president talks about, it is true, especially as it relates to the market, president trump and his promise to deregulate has super channeled things. but there is absolutely no turnaround. we were on a slow and steady ris
