fox business blake fuhrman has more. >> after roughly two years of negotiations and one broken down framework already this year, president trump saying from the oval office friday afternoon alongside china's vice premiere and his team that the u.s. and china have come to a trade deal. the president said it will cover an ag buy of roughly $40 billion to $50 billion, open up the financial services sector in china, and take on the issues of ip theft, forced technology transfer, and currency manipulation. however, there's still a ways to go. >> we've come to a very substantial deal, pretty much subject to getting it written. it will take probably three weeks, four weeks, or five weeks. >> tariff increases will not take effect on tuesday, but the december scheduled tariff increase is yet to be determined. i asked the president if there's any assurances that the whole thing won't fall apart. >> anything can happen. that can happen. i don't think it will. i think we know each other very well. we've been negotiating this for a long time. and i think the likelihood of it falling apart is not so good.
