. >> bill: let's bring in mark fuhrman. you live in idaho and talked to students.re are you now and what have you found out as to how far police or investigators may or may not be? >> well good morning, bill and sandra. it's beyond tragic what happened in moscow. you know, i talked to students as early as monday. i talked to alumni, some parents, not the parents of the victims. i learned -- i knew about the two girls that were in the apartment, in the house at the exact time of the murder and their story was they heard partying, they heard noise but they just, as usual said, you know, there was partying going on and locked the door. it is interesting that they said they locked the door and then i talked to more students and they go well, when you are in a house that has a party and you don't want to party, you look the door so nobody comes in. but it does actually create some more of the timeline. now we have madison and kaylee that went to a food truck at 3:43. when i'm trying to reconstruct in my head this series of events, we know madison and kaylee are alive at

mark fuhrman joins me now former lapd detective and currently lives in idaho.ective, if you were running this on point, what would you be doing right now? >> jesse, i would probably be doing exactly what they're doing right now. i am actually fairly impressed when i see how fast they put together a task force. many times smaller agencies are hesitant to be second-guessed so they don't bring in other agencies or the feds or the state police because they don't want to be, you know, criticized or anything else. and that's not the fact here. so, i would like everybody to understand that almost every serial killer investigation that we know that is famous starts out large agencies that don't get any handle ton until victims 7, 8, 9, 10, 11. so,. >> jesse: do you think this is a serial killer on the loose, detective? >> i would say ono. just as the chief of police said in the press conference and you stated in your monologue, we have a targeted crime here and they are not going to lay out exactly why it's targeted. i think the chief of police was quite candid, dancin

. >> sandra: former lapd detective mark fuhrman, they were trying to find dna to find who is responsible for the gruesome murder of four idaho students. fbi is assisting in the case now, gone nearly a week without a suspect. bill, you find it hard to believe at this point they don't have a major lead in this case yet, considering mark's point this morning when bill and i were speaking with him, he very clearly laid out that the gruesome crime scene like this, and this many people murdered with a knife, there's a lot of blood, and there's a lot of slippage that's graphic to think about but a lot of slippage and end up with the perpetrators blood at the scene, they could track down his dna. why don't we have anything yet? >> well, sandra, first of all, it's not to say that police don't, we are only hearing what they have been publicly revealing. but on the dna side, and if they have any samples back, not associated with the victims, the thing is, who is going to compare it to. like a set of fingerprints, unless there is a known set, who do you compare it to. later on you put the suspect at
