pierre fulton, he has given a statement to the over arching authority that's investigating the deathtt, and he's not been charged with anything. he's free to go as he wishes. anderson? >> we should point out, he stayed in the vehicle while mr. scott ran. in terms of the second officer who arrived on the scene after mr. scott was gunned down. the officer we see in the video, there are a number of calls now for some kind of legal action to be taken against him as well, right? >> clarence habersham. he's the officer that you can see, the african american officer who comes up on scene. and yes, there's a growing number of protesters that are saying that he too should be if not investigated he should be charged with something. they claim he didn't render aid as he claimed he it done in the police report he gave. and they believe that in some ways he's actually aiding officer slager in the account that was initially given. so that's why you're hearing that outcry. you don't hear it so much here in the community. most people are standing by waiting to see what further investigation reveals.

we were at fulton street and north avenue. a a couple of cars were on fire. we got out to report on the scene and there were a lot of people on the street who were very upset just at our being there. and we got harassed by some people and some people started following us an yelling at us and people started throwing bottles at us from infront of their homes. large bottles crashing at our feet. and it got really hairy. and the police were in a line focused on north avenue and not on what was happening on fulton. so we managed to make our way back to our vehicle and get out. i want to say there are similar scenes of that in this area of west baltimore. some fires burning, you know most of the city is fine. we drove through downtown. it is very quiet and foin in most of baltimore. but this area is still hot. and there is a lot of people angry and a lot of people who are lashing out, not just to police but also at any media on the street. >> any of you injured, rick? >> no, we're all fine. >> i guess it happened quick and you didn't realize it was coming on you? >

so that effort is moving quickly likewise we actually lowered the speed limit on fulton street between arguillo and the great highway and that's just gone into effect where that tragedy crash involving the motorcyclist took place today and we're looking to construct at least 11 miles of new bike treatments whether they be upgrades to bike lanes or new bike lanes or improvements like cycle tracks and the separation, a physical separation of cyclists and traffic has been going on for the last few weeks and many of those cycling corridors are also high crash corridors and also effort to improve reliability and travel time on the busiest muni routes and whenever we build out these corridors we improve sight lines and rearrange the parking on these streets and we were able to create bulb on some of the trickier scene of intersections and will be constructing other pedestrian safety features on streets like mission and stockton and columbus throughout this year as well. so by saying that i hope i give you the sense that we are both integrating the safety spirit of vision zero into all of our
