furman: the u.s. been the biggest success story of any of the economies in the world in rebounding from the financial crisis. and our growth continues to be considered by people around the world as one of the bright spots in the global economy. the unemployment rate has consistently come in below expectations. it's been accompanied by a broader healing and labor markets. wages are up at the fastest they've been since the financial crisis. i think the biggest concern that i face for our economy is the impact that the rest of the world will have on the u.s. economy. trade is subtracting -- slow down in our exports to the rest of the world, which is a function of slower growth in the rest of the world. it's taking about 3/4 of a point off of our growth rate right now. so this isn't enough to have a massive change on the u.s. economy but it is persistent drag on the economy. you know, a sector like housing, i actually think is one of the bright spots in the economy with an area of a lot of potential. cert

we have former lapd detective mark furman and low levy. we begin with the organization that broke the news. the executive producer of tmz.com. tell us what the latest is. >> when we broke the story last friday he was rushed to the hospital, his people told us he had the flu and it did not make sense to us. i'll tell you why. he'd just performed in atlanta, d did a very good concert, his voice was great. he seemed great. jumped on a plane, an hour and a half later, 48 minutes from his final destination in minnesota, the plane is diverted and makes an emergency landing and he is rushed to the hospital by ambulance. his people sai the flu, it stopped us in our tracks. we thought why won't he tough it out 48 minutes and be in his home? they said it was the flu, they treated him and he left. we're told they made an emergency landing because of radio calls indicating that he may have had a drug overdose, and that they -- it was so serious, they gave him treatment at the airport on the tarmac, then took him to the hospital in the emergency room.
