<<gabi shull has been dancing for years... it's this teenager's favorite hobby. so her diagnosis when she was just nine years old was potentially devastating. gabi had osteosarcoma.... it required her to have a portion of her leg amputated. shull says: "my main surgery was june 15th, 2011, the rotation plasty surgery, and what they did was take out my knee, which was the portion that had cancer." shull says: "now my ankle acts as my knee, and whenever i point my ankle, it straightens the prosthetic." gabi is now back to walking, even dancing. shull says: "dancing means a lot to me. i think it's the main thing that motivated me to keep going and to learn to walk again because i just really wanted to get back on stage." but the one thing she couldn't do... was dance on andrews came in. gabi told her prosthetist that she wanted to get a foot that allowed her to dance on pointe... and he wasn't sure he could ever help her achieve that dream... but he tried. andrews says: "i wasn't sure how it was going to work, and then she immediately got up on pointe, and started m

cbs 4's gaby fleischman is live with more. >> reporter: elliott, police tell me the little girl was found all by herself inside of the burning apartment and now is a look at her mug shot. we are being told this is 32-year-old irika rodelo, charged with child neglect. neighbors said she was outside when the fire broke out and made no attempt to save her little girl screaming for help. witnesses told cops mom left the scene and was no where to be found. >> a child's burnt belongings and smoke-stained walls, with a little girl trapped inside was in flames. neighbors called for help when they saw smoke pouring out of a first floor unit at the versailles gardens condominiums just before 8:00 p.m. firefighters with miami-dade fire rescue heard a child crying. they smashed through a window and pulled her to safety. the 5-year-old was home alone. hospital and treated for smoke inhalation and crews extinguished the fire before it could spread. the blaze started in the kitchen, although it is not clear how. >> we are told she has been arrested for child neglect in the past, once released from the h
