it's crunch time for the republican presidential field after months of campaigning, debating, gaffing, it appears iowa is anyone's gain. the contenders are spread out acro across the state. ron paul is the only top candidate without a public event scheduled today. but real clear politics' latest average shows the texas congressman topping the field right there in iowa with a slight lead over mitt romney essentially statistically tied. newt gingrich in third, six points behind the front-runners. rick perry three points back of gingrich. while he may have the support of iowa, the national polls shows ron paul dropping to third place and newt gingrich is at 28%. mitt romney, three points behind gingrich within the margin of error 13 points behind mitt romney is paul. mike huckabee has weighed in with his prediction. >> i would probably say that mitt romney will end up winning it today. now, i think, again, ron paul because of his organization could and that's where mitt is really at a disadvantage. he doesn't have the devotion. if the weather is good, mitt romney is in better shape. if t
