nightfall is upon us and the temperatures are starting to fall. 47 right now and falls church 44 in gaithersburg and 42 in hagerstown. early this afternoon we hit 62 degrees at reagan national airport, well above the average high of 48. down to 42 in hagerstown, 41 in cumberland. it will take awhile for things to cool down, but they will in the early morning hours. some areas may be close to 30 degrees. 44 at logan airport in boston. temperatures falling to the team is now northern minnesota. -- falling to the teens now in northern minnesota. our high pressure will keep us pleasant and mild tomorrow. on thursday it will move out of the picture. this is going to be a huge snowstorm, a large area of winter storm warnings and blizzard warnings in effect back toward parts of colorado. a rapid increase in cloudiness thursday, rain developing thursday afternoon and thursday night. then it sweeps up to the northeast on friday morning and we will be on the back side of things. that will drop the temperatures. tomorrow, we will wake up to clear skies, a nice wednesday then as we head for the day thursday
