trace gallagher has more on this one. >> reporter: i've just never seen anything like it.s one is wild. the woman, 23 years old, apparently struck up a conversation with the suspect while they were on the platform, and the witnesses said they somehow got into an argument about the man's hat. you're going to see here as we roll the video the woman starts walking toward the camera, down the platform. and now watch this, she's walking toward the camera, and here she is -- away there the camera, rather. watch the man come out of nowhere and, bam, violently pushes her down on the tracks. you see her on the right-hand side, and one of her friends tries to tackle the suspect, other witnesses are both helping her and trying to get the suspect tied down. somehow he got away, megyn. now we're going to slow the whole thing down for you. he pushes her down, she barely misses the electrical track which could have killed her, then the oncoming train was only seconds away. she was able to get up. the injuries to her side or -- were so bad that witnesses thought she'd been stabbed before
