i was in the gallery. i wanted to observe. i prepared my own arguments for the pennsylvania challenge to come, i wanted to observe the early states that were challenged. so i stood shoulder to shoulder with dean phillips, hearing those challenges, mouthing the words shame, shame for these arguments. then i remember trying to go back to my office to finish my arguments and a very large police officer stopped me and said there was a bomb threat, please go back to where you were. so i went back to the gallery, i stood there and i heard a series of commands from the floor from i did not know who at the time. "please sit down. please prepare to lie down. please get your gas masks out from under your seat." like many of you, i had no idea. as we fumbled with the gas masks, i headed to the rail, the wall of the rail. i remember calling lucille over to me and i remember seeing veronica in a gorgeous white jacket standing, readying her gas masks and screaming, "get down." then the pounding on the doors. the haunting sound i will never

but i am reminded of that day in the gallery. as i watched a lot of scurrying of my friends on the others of the aisle, we were still in the mood of counting this celebratory moment. i heard our faithful sergeant at arm's staff person shouting, close the doors. we were still in a daze. then i saw the capitol police rushing to close doors and explaining to us, get out, get down. i am always with books and papers. i had to drop them all. i watched members cowering and going, each one in their own way was brave. i know they want no accounting for that. we worked scurrying for the thought that we might not live. i was here for 9/11. i was in the building. any meeting, refused to acknowledge the noise outside until someone busted in and said you have to run for your life. on that day, we were running together, as americans. we were fearful together, hopeful together. when i went down those steps, they said, we do not know what is happening, one for your life, but the rumors in those blackberries where it is the capitol, the white hous

january 6th was my first time ever to the house gallery. my team had to walk me there, because i didn't know how to get to the capital. on never forget the buzzing of the escape hoods, the fear when i couldn't open the packaging. the sound of the doors closing, and being locked. introducing myself to my colleagues as we were hiding under the chairs. any cluster grabbing my hand. fashioning weapons out of stanchions and pans, and my high heels. ready to take on the rioters who were banging on the doors behind us. climbing over chairs in under rails, not sure where the rioters were, and if we were going fast enough to escape. them >> i remember, i was laying on the floor. i had this very little bit of juice left in my cell phone. i wanted to call my husband. i want to call stan. i was afraid to say, i love you, because it harkened back to substantial 11th, and those last calls. so, i just said, i'm all right. tell the kids i am all right, they are going to get us out of here. and i hung up the phone. >> i reflect on that day being trapped in

along with the spacious plant hall, it also has room for sculpture and picture galleries, fountains, arcades and terraces. the entire complex has a mediterranean flare reflecting the king's love for italy. the palace measures over 300 meters long. even so these 3 mansions are only a small part of the palaces and parks of potsdam and berlin world heritage site. there's much more to see here. ah. between forms and dom stunt stands, lord abbey, a prominent center of power and the middle ages. today, only 3 structures from the original benedictine abbey survived. a section of the monastery wall, the former abbey church and the 9th century. our love azia, the entrance hall. it's original purpose has never been determined. it's one of the few carolyn jin era buildings to survive more or less intact. a leap north takes us to the old town of gus law and the hamas bag mine in the middle ages. goslin was a royal seat where holy roman emperors held imperial sentence about 2 thirds of the old towns, buildings are protected. the decoration indicates the status and wealth of their one time owners.
