because gallup put president trump's approval rating at 39% in texas. so how will that play specifically into today's races? >> well, i think what's happening is the democrats are going to be turning out in bigger numbers. they've already voted. they've doubled their turnout from the last election. and -- the last midterms in fact. they've almost doubled what the republicans had. so i think their turnout is going to go up maybe 10% to 20% above historic norms. and that is strictly a motivation that is coming from mr. trump. and in this particular race that your reporter was just talking about in texas, the seventh congressional district, that's the district they believe they can carry. hillary clinton outvoted donald trump there. it's an historically republican district that's been held by congressman culberson since 2000 so they think they have a chance there. these are the kinds of signs and encouragement that democrats just haven't had in texas for many, many election cycles. >> all right. well, we'll be monitoring this all day. covering these races.
