. >> rosemary andre garcia, hello to you. happy monday, everyone. giving you a look here at the beautiful clouds over the bay area at this time. mainly dry. it is the calm before the next storm. here's a look at storm tracker two. we've got a little bit of moisture embedded within those clouds, but for the most part we have been dry for the last few hours or so. the next system tilts still to our north, beginning to see some moisture pop in over areas of lake county. it will move into the north bay before it moves into the central and south bay later today. flood watch begins at 4:00 this afternoon and will go until wednesday morning, as we are expecting anywhere from 2 to 4 or even five inches of rainfall by wednesday. then we'll get a break before the next system rolls in on thursday. the sierra, also with an advisory that begins at 1:00 this afternoon and will go until 10 a.m. on wednesday. first storm over the weekend had very high snow levels. these levels will be dropping and the winter storm warning is for travelers along i-80. highway 50 get

i'm laura garcia. and i'm kris sanchez. i'm in for marcus washington. we begin with that microclimate weather alert because as we mentioned, there is more rain rolling in this morning, even as the soil in some neighborhoods is completely saturated already. tuesday's storm triggered a mudslide which slammed into one north bay home that is now red tagged. this is in santa rosa's deer trail neighborhood, which is under evacuation warnings now. we spoke with the owner of that red tagged home, and he said his wife was at home when she called him at work to say she was stuck. it was difficult to understand what she was saying and she was obviously panicking. she didn't know if she could get out and but. it was just so scary. i mean, you can hear how scary in his voice, he says. first responders rescued both his wife and his daughter. they are both okay, but the home is going to have to be torn down and listen to this. he said this home is a rebuild from the home that they lost in the 2017 fire storm. meteorologist kari hall is keeping tabs on the latest condi
