we're at the rest stop you mentioned here along the garden state parkway.you can see some of the new jersey state police units and department of corrections unit that have mobilized in the parking lot. they've been here for several hours after it is believed that the escaped inmate was spotted here last night. take a look at new video from where we are as the search for 38-year-old arthur buckle continues. he's been missing since last tuesday. police have been using okay nene unit -- canine units to search the area. air units have been up as well throughout the evening. arthur buckle escaped from prison days before he was scheduled to be up for parole. right now he's been serving a sentence for aggravated assault, drug possession and burglary. he has been caught on surveillance cameras a couple of times since his escape. we've been told now most recently by state police just within the past few hours that buckle was caught on surveillance video here at the service station around 9 oo. 30 last night. he used an employee's cell phone, then gave the phone back

right now we are standing on the side of the garden state parkway. it is pretty much, vai, a dead stop. we know that escaped inmate arthur buckel who escaped from the psychiatric hospital, the bay side satellite prison unit last week on tuesday has finally been captured we are told without incident. a state police source tells me that the department of corrections has been able to capture buckel and no one has been hurt. what i'm seeing is traffic stacked up along the garden state parkway northbound and numerous department of corrections vehicles and police who are up on the left-hand side we are told that buckel is essentially right outside of this double trouble state park and may be sitting on a barrier on the side of the highway, although i can't see down that far, vai. we do know that final bely on this sixth day buckel is in police custody, that the department of corrections has him again. seven days tomorrow, it would have been a week, vai. people in the garden state, new jersey residents, many of whom who were alarmed, upset, even stretching

philadelphia police searched a large area around delaware avenue and spring garden.nicum officer and the person he believed to be a suspect ended with a crash around girard avenue and that is where the suspect then fled on foot. now, this all unfolded around 10 o'clock last night. a 911 call for a home invasion in prospect park brought police to the 200 block of lafayette avenue. an officer saw one of several suspects jump into a vehicle. that is what sparked the chase. there are at least two other suspects that fled possibly on foot from the prospect park scene. now, the police officer did sustain minor injuries. again, we are told that he is expected to be okay. now, we are also told that police are still searching for the suspect but it's unclear how many. there was one person that was in handcuffs at the scene in philadelphia but we are told that that person seen in handcuffs was later cleared and is not a suspect. we're still waiting to find out more information from police as to who they're looking for. reporting live from tinicum township police, annie mccormi
