we got snow, $7 inches in garrett and other areas with three and two inches and the rain amounts from marshall, the record amount for one day in the official reporting station, almost $3 inches and other areas got more, southern maryland with over $3 inches of rain. it was a large system, but the temperatures dictated what we got. at points yesterday, we got to 62. it was chilly in the far western portion of maryland and the temperatures dropping quickly as the storm system started to come in. the warmer temperatures, the milder streak, never letting this to build or accumulate or take hold of the colder air. we never got the winter blast, just a quick brush of that moving through. 35 now, it is 66 with humidity, a calm wind in parts of the state and winds from the west, they have been really the story. we are looking at the temperatures from 21 to about 40. 39 in ocean city. we still are looking at 39 in kent is lands. mid 30s over much of the state. we are drying out from the rain we have, but gusting up to 50 miles per hour, substantial, since about midnight. the gusts are starting
