garrett tenney takes a look at big money in politics. >> reporter: when you look at these numbers its incredible to see just how much money is going into this election. in total the candidates and their super pacs have already raised $1.1 billion. bernie sanders continues to p dominate hillary clinton in fund raising. his campaign raised $46 million compared to clinton's reported $29 million. but sanders is also burning through that cash a lot faster than clinton and he also doesn't the clinton super pac reported bringing in more than $11.7 million in march and in total more than $67 million this election. >> secretary clinton is doing it the way the vast majority of politicians. she's established a number of super pacs and in the last filing period her major super pac reported 25 million from special interests including $15000000 from wall street. >> on the republican side, donald trump who is self-funding his campaign raised only $2.7 million in march, far behind ted cruz's 1.5 million and john kasich's 4.5 million. trump did write his campaign an $11.5 million check in march. >> r

garrett tenney is live for us in washington with the heated exchanges that took place on capitol hill morning. there is plenty of outreach over this story. more than 20,000 legal immigrants were arrested and convicted of crimes from burglary to sexual assault to kidnapping and were released back on to the streets. this comes from a new report for the certainties for immigration studies which details several years worth of releases. in 2015 immigration and customs enforcement or ice freed 19,723 convicted illegal immigrants. 2016 kidnappings, 614 sex offenses and 804 robberies among others. dozens of them did not stop there. after their release they went on to commit additional crimes including murder. family members of those victims were in the audience grilled isis ovce -- ice over the relea which has been going on for years. >> in years they have released more than 86,000 criminal aliens into the american public. these are people that were here illegally, got caught committing a crime, were convicted of that crime and instead of deporting them, they were released back out into the u

garrett tenney is live from washington. >> reporter: u.s. officials concerned that american airports could be vulnerable to so-called insider attacks on the terrorist bombings in belgium forcing the u.s. in many western countries to take a hard look at airport security protocol. this also comes after isis successfully bombed a russian passenger jet over the sinai peninsula in october. killing more than 200 people onboard. investigators believe airport insiders were responsible for that attack. u.s. officials believe we'll be seeing more of those kinds of threats as well. >> the other issue, which is even more sinister, is that isis literally has a research and development facility in the middle east, and their sole focus is in finding ways to get around airport security and blow up airplanes, as we saw. >> back in belgium, they say more insider attacks could be on the way and there are at least 50 isis supporters working at the brussels airport. in low level jobs such as cleaners, caterers, and baggage handlers who all have security access.

well, garrett tenney is here to break down the voters and their answers at the polls from washington,t. we can trust these numbers and we trust you. >> reporter: these are numbers you can trust from the fox business network, demand it. things are looking for good for ted cruz with the 42 delegates that are up for grabs on tuesday and he's leading the field with 42% among likely gop voters. that's ten points ahead of donald trump who's at 32% followed by kasich with 19%. cruz's lead is even bigger though when you look at several key demographics. let's start with evangelical voters. trump's done very well with this voting bloc in previous states but in wisconsin nearly half of white evangelical voters chose cruz. while just a quarter of those voters go for trump. and 16% for kasich. cruz's strongest support though is among voters who identify as very conservative. where he beats the donald by 41 points with 61% to trump's 25%. in a week filled with controversy over trump's abortion comments, this poll is more bad news. more than half of likely women voters in the wisconsin primary pref
