i'm garvin thomas. vianey arana has all the good news about your microclimate forecast. >> i think folks are going to like it. good morning, by the way, thank you for joining us on an early saturday morning. have you had your cup of coffee yet? >> i'm on number three. >> current temperatures in the 60s, we're so comfortable but we're a little cloudy, look at the south bay, 62. you can see the clouds throughout the entire bay area. check out the east bay. in san francisco, that marine layer might even catch some drizzle. 54 degrees in the north bay. we can all thank this to a nearby system that's going to keep us a little bit cooler. some areas are running about 10 degrees below normal for this time of year, including san jose, only expected to climb into the mid 70s. that is comfortable weather. we're going to get a good mix of sun and clouds. and what i'm monitoring is the winds that are expected to kick up tonight. i'll let you know which spots are going to be the windiness coming up in 10 minutes. >>

. >> we have michelle bernstein cooking with michael and gerry garvin cooking with lara and we have oured with adam and robin. take it away. >> what are we preparing here? >> most people think of pulled pork as something you have to make in a smoker. you could make it at home so if you wouldn't mind combining all these spices we have brown sugar, salt, some pepper and garlic, paprika and like just like you would with a smoker, we cook it low and slow. yeah, that's the right reaction. so basically we're going to mix all these things together, rub it, cook it low and slow and pull it apart and while hot heat up barbecue sauce, heat up maple syrup and actually going to put it in a skillet and combine it. then when it's done instead of a bun we are going to use waffles. come on. so while you're combining that i'll top the slices with some extra sharp cheddar and a little bit more of this delicious pulled pork. while you're mixing that, once the pork is actually treated, we put a little bit on right now, we'll put a little bit of the maple and barbecue on. >> smell it. >> isn't that lovely.
