and i'm garvin thomas. city workers moved in to begin cleaning up a large homeless encampment in san jose today. the city says it was needed for multiple reasons, including the safety of flights in and out of the airport. nbc bay area's ian cull explains why and has reaction from people who have been living there. reporter pauline torres has lived in an encampment near 87 and taylor for six years now, and says she's been forced to move her trailer multiple times. we because we didn't have nowhere to go. reporter the latest this morning, city crews moved in to clear trash and tell the people living in rvs and tents they needed to leave. he offers no services, nowhere to go, no hel, nothing. nothing. but he said we had to be out there, be out of there by noon. this is the closest we could go, you know. and from there, i know it's only a matter of time that they're going to have us move from here. the city disputes that, saying they offered services to people here twice in the past two weeks. but this abatemen
