evans reports. >> reporter: police searched the gary indiana home of 43-year-old darren vann who could be responsible for at least seven deaths, potentially more, dating back to the '90s. authorities say vann met the 19-year-old at this motel in hammond, indiana, on friday, after a co-worker failed to reach hardy by cell phone she and a friend arrived to discover her body. hardy had been strangled. police tracked down vann using a cell phone. >> during a subsequent investigation of vann, he admitted his involvement in the hammond incident and had notified mrifs other criminal incidents he was involved with. >> reporter: vann told police of six other bodies and where to find them. marvin was engaged to another one. >> i'm devastated. >> reporter: authorities around saying how the other woman died, but they are saying vann told them there may be more victims. >> it could go back 20 years, based on statements we have. >> reporter: vann was convicted of sexual assault seven years ago. he's already charged with hardy's murder. charges for the other six women are expected this week. >>> pennsylvania police
