"agrarianbook, republic, farming, antislavery politics, and nature parks in the civil war era," was published by the university of north carolina press in february 2015. he's also published articles in civil war history in our own "virginia magazine of history and biography." in 2009, he had an article entitled "who controls the tax controls the future, virginia textbook controversy," won our annual award for the best article that year. he's currently at work on his next project about the study of white southern union's during reconstruction. please join me in a warm vhs welcome to adam dean.
