(ken) we look back at the career of gary radnich ... coming up i have spent half of my l station has helped put my older 3 children through college and given us a nice head start with our younger 3. this station has made it possible for us to walk the streets anywhere in this region and usually be greeted by smiling faces. meeting famous coaches and players was never high on my excitement list... but to be able to earn a living covering quote "games" has always been appreciated. i've done only two things in my life...play basketball and talk on tv and radio. early on... i honestly didn't know what i wanted to do. my two goals were find something where you don't punch a clock and aren't forced to go out to lunch and watch a supervisor drink while telling old stories. at kron i found both. most of my first 17 years, general manager amy mccombs always told executives, "don't mess with gary, he knows what he's doing." i would run through a wall for that lady and worked 6 days a week during her tenure. when we lost nbc in the early 2000s we
