this is wrong. >> to tell us more about the atrocity is filmmaker and gary stokes from hong kong. gary, help us understand the cultural impact of shark fin soup in asia. >> well, shark fin soup is sort of declared a delicacy because of its status from the tables of the emperor. a growing market in mainland china, sharks are being wiped out at the moment, down to the last 10%. it's not looking great for the sharks at the moment. >> what is the biggest challenge? it's illegal there. what do you think you'll accomplish? >> it's all about awareness, really. we need to get people aware. there's lots and lots of dry seafood shops. if you go in there to try to take a picture, they will be throwing you out of the shop. they know it's a bit of a disgrace. a lot of people don't realize how it's made. once they see that, they realize why we're kicking up such a fuss and saying it's so pointless. >> how disheartening is it as an activist to see the street full of shark fins. >> it was pretty disheartening. standing there, i was just shaking, shaking my head. it's the vast scale of things it r
