garza lleva 14 anos en uniforme...e marina garza 12 cuando paso el 11 de spt estaba en la escuela y senti que faltaba hacer algo por el pais 3.17 ayudar a la gente y hacer eso me hace mejor persona y a la ciudad la hace mas habitable, mas segura. ==bridge 46.06== cuando un policia recibe una llamada por radio alertandolos sobre un incidente.. estos aparecen en la computadora categorizados por letras a b y c... la a es la mas importante... ==track== importante porque indica sobre un peligro inminente. la computadora recibe una notificacion que enciende las sirenas.... garza 29.15 un hombre mayor esta siendo atacado por jovenes recibimos la descripcion 29.30 hombre de raza negra, sweater verde.. 20 anos... y en minutos... [nat] la policia lo vio y salio a detenerlo antes de que pudiera escapar lo detuvieron, refuerzo policial llego rapidamente y la ley actuo... garza 42.58 "la victima vino y lo pudo identificar" de alli el sospechoso fue trasladado a la estacion policial... garza y su companero continuaron con su mision

[applause] >> all right. thank you supervisor mar for recognizing our work. it's an honor to have been recognized now for the second time. first time by supervisor david campos for the work that we did and are continuing to do in baby hunter's point with power as he mentioned and then, of course, now, what we're doing with black lives matter. we appreciate your acknowledgement and recognition. as i mentioned before, i worked in bay view for nearly ten years with families who are still struggling to survive in one of the wealthiest cities in the world. as we celebrate the accomplishments of black folks during the shortest month of the year -- (laughter) >> -- i would like to challenge san francisco, a place that i love very much and a place where my parents grew up to declare 2015 the year of black futures. black futures is still in the balance. we have displacement at an all time high. as senator mark said, we are less than four percent of the population. unemployment is higher than it should be. way too many
