a quick thinking employee stops and armed robbery in the east bay. it happened at a gas station near the oakland coliseum. an employee was able to disarm a woman that was in the store trying to rob the clerk. she ran away without getting any money. today the dispute over whether ross mirkarimi can regain his job as servers as the sherrif moves to the city's ethics commission. it is a process that could take several weeks. we saw washington in san fransisco to explain what is involved. >> good morning. sherrif ross mirkarimi plead guilty and was sentenced for one count of false imprisonment for an incident that happened before he was sworn into office. now it is up to the seventh disco at the commission to determine if the sherrif's actions are official misconduct as it relates to his job. the mayor san fransisco suspended the sherrif without pay last month after he was sentenced for false imprisonment for that new year's eve incident involving the sheriff's wife. after an argument between the couple, her arm was bruised. here a couple of the questions that will be on the agenda
