good evening i'm gasia mikaelian. chris colliver walked out of the city jail. he struck a cyclist with his car and left the scene. he is now fang a slew of charges. it's a first story we broke today on ktvu.com and twitter. and you were there as culiver left the jail less than two hours ago, cara liu has the story. >> reporter: he left here just about 5:15. he was picked up out front by a man driving a white mini van. we tried asking culiver about what happened but he said nothing. invest investigators say he was driving a white mustang when he hit a cyclist. he tried to drive off but a witness followed him. the witness was able to block culiver's mustang until police arrived. the witnesses wife was on the phone with 911 as they were following the mustang. >> the driver was attempting to make a u turn didn't make it. ended upcoming on the sidewalk and striking the cyclist. he wanted to be a good samaritan, he didn't like that somebody hit somebody and left. >> reporter: they searched his mustang and found brass knuckles. then they charged him. the bicyclists wa

winds are relatively light as we look at san jose and san francisco's as gasia points out. it's a beautiful afternoon out there. 79degrees currently in san jose. the forecast for san jose it starts out and it's pretty mild because of the cloud cover. it's showery by lunchtime. low and mid-60s tomorrow. so it's definitely going to be a cool day. with that low pressure is going to get closer: temperatures today were warm but they're going to drop down tuesday and wednesday and they're going to stay down for a little while. forget the 80s and forget the 70s. i think temperatures will remain in the 60s for most of us. the computer model, here we are right now. here comes the clouds for tomorrow morning. everybody is getting shower activity. then it's 3:00 tomorrow afternoon and it's pretty much gone. here we come into tomorrow night and then we go wednesday morning. wednesday morning's commute scattered light showers lingering. then wednesday afternoon's commute. right none of this is heavy but it kind of keeps going. looks as if the commute could have some wet in them starting
