we are joined by pria with the golden gate district. looking to get into san francisco, what should they though about taking the ferry today? >> we are adding an extra boat at the larkspur ferry terminal. it can carry 500 passengers at a time. we will run it back and forth between larkspur and san francisco as the need warrants. folks should get to larkspur early to find a parking spot or come a different way. they can get a ride, bring their bike, or walk or take one of our fabulous ferry shuttles. >> reporter: and normal capacity is around 700 to 800 but the bulk of passengers are brought on buses. we found folks waiting for the golden gate transit bus. and folks that normally take the bus and other folks that this is their first time what should they know? >> first we have precancelled about 30% of our bus trips. we think buss will get stuck in that very heavy traffic. so in order to try to make as many runs as we can on the right schedule, we have precancelled about 30% of our service. so riders should go to goldengate.org and we ha
