if you know the area, near the north gate mall, off of north gate drive. it is a dense area.hopping mall here at the top of the hill here. a marina, an elderly housing complex. 200 units there and this fire is going up the side of the hill. you can probably see the smoke from the south where our chopper is. police arrived on scene. a few minutes ago. they are already hiking up the hail to get to the hot spots. but at this point it is still heading towards the top. at the top of the hill there is a large office complex. if is vacant -- it is vacant right now. it was the clearing house building. very large. at this point this fire is still burning out of control. again, heading towards the 200 units, the elderly complex up there. at this point those people are still up there in the units. again, one more time, the brush fire up the side of quail hill. the fire department just getting on scene. hiking up the hill and trying to get a handle on this. still burning out of control. for people that live in the area here there is a large homeless camp on this side of the hill as well.
