i'm gayle guyardo. >> and happy friday. i'm paul mueller in for gene today. and let's check in with with three named storms. >> that's right. karl is the latest one. it formed late last night. ian not going to have an impact on anyone. but julia regained tropical storm status although it's going to continue to just move around the south carolina and north carolina coastline for the next couple days. we will keep an eye on it. but for the most part, not much of an issue for us. and then there's karl which bearss at least a little bit of watching. 45miles per hour and it's slowly gaining strength, becoming about a 60 miles per hour storm on sunday. 70miles per hour storm on tuesday evening. it's still a long way away. we will just watch it for sure. now locally, it feels tropical. our humidity is high for this time of the year. it's not oppressive. that's july and august. but it's uncomfortable which will lead to showers, the first few popping up around noon. much better rain chances east evening. at 4:38 in weather and traffic on the 8s, i will have the eight-
