(justine) tonight a target employee in the north bay is recovering after being punched in the face by a suspected shoplifter.(j.r.) it happened friday night at the target in petaluma on kenilworth drive near highway 101. police have released these surveillance images of the suspect. they tell us that the man concealed some items in his pants and tried to leave the store. when an employee tried to detain him the man dropped the merchandise and punched that person. that employee had a minor injury but is okay. police urge you to call them if you recognize this man. (justine) police arrested two suspected car burglars - who officers say targetted cars in the east bay. 20-year-old caleb smith and 19-year-old maurice griffin both of oakland were arrested tuesday. police tell us, smith was carrying a backpack that appeared to contain items missing from a nearby vehicle. and that, griffin had a window punch tool used to break windows. the two are being linked to at least 5 car burlgaries. so
