but you get into all this speculation about her sexual orientation, her relationship with gayle king.hy go there? >> because when you're doing a biography, you want the total picture. and sexuality is very much a part of it. >> you were not able to answer that question? you raised it -- >> i didn't set out to -- there's a great deal of speculation about oprah's sexuality because she brought it up. she issued a press release years ago when she went on ellen degeneres' show to play the therapist when ellen was going to make television history and come out as a lesbian. and oprah got a lot of feedback from that. she issued a press release, an official statement saying, i am not gay, i'm not coming out of the closet, i am not a lesbian. in that time, she brought -- this is a woman who's been engaged to stedman graham since 1992, and will probably never marry him, at least according to what her father told me, and she travels and is seen more frequently with gayle king. it is not a question that came from me, it is a question that is raised frequently. >> an elephant in the room. >> the el

she was presenting an award to her best friend gayle king and she made comments about the biography.so-called biography has come out, this too shall pass, representing the fact that nothing in it is really what she thinks it should be. she says she bashed kelley's book, which includes reports that the daytime diva abused drugs. she questions the extent of winfrey's long-time claim of being sexually abused as a child, which everyone knows that's a big part what she talks about. keep in mind kitty kelley said she interviewed 850 people. she's well known, she did liz taylor's autobiography, she did sinatra's biography. i shouldn't say autobiography. biography as well. so right now, it's number three on amazon's best-seller list. oprah is saying -- >> take it with a grain of salt. >> right. >> yeah. a lot of people want to know about oprah's life, that's for sure. seems producers of the new bond movie are shaken and stirred and they don't know what to do and they're not going to put the movie out just yet. they were in production but it's been put on hold over uncertainty over the future

oprah was in new york city on monday and presented an award to her best friend gayle king.this is a quote from oprah winfrey. last week was a rough week for gayle when a so-called biography came out. every day she's getting herself more and more worked up with about all of my daddies that are showing up. new daddies who are saying, hello, daughter. call me. i need a roof. well, this too shall pass. she's having fun with this situation and showing everyone it's not getting the better of her. >> this one particular new daddy that's getting a lot of attention, did she speak specifically to that? >> well, she did in terms of the possibility of a paternity test. there's an 84-year-old farmer from mississippi named norm robinson who is getting attention for making claims he's her true biological father. he said he'd have a dna test done. he wrote her a letter to arrange a dna test. they asked if she would do the test. her answer is -- she said i will not be taking a paternity test ever, and i'm guessing that's the last we'll here from oprah on the subject and from the post sdrigs
