so tony how are you trading ge into next week's earning this is interesting. a lot of people talking about ge. >> this broke out in january above the 11 1/2 level i think this is a good entry for potential long from a risk reward prevc looking at ge from a relatively perspective it's starting to outperform the sector. not only do i like that type of relative strength into earnings, the industrial sector itself having spent most of 2009 going sideways broke out in november i think this is -- there is more upside especially into an election year here so general electric looking at the earnings here it's implying about a 7.8% move next week going into earnings which falls in line with the roughly the 7% that we have seen over the last four quarters. so the way i'm looking to play this, because general electric implied volatility is actually at the lower end of the range is a simple strategy of just buying a call spread. i'm going out to march and looking at the 11 x 13 call vertical i'm buying the march 11 calls for about $1.0 a earlier today and selling the 13 c

next one i want to talk about on the long side is ge.e know how terrible this has been, down 80 over the last couple of years but very equitily the last 18 or so months we have this base taking shape. up through 11 a couple weeks ago was a big deal i think on the way to 15 there are 25 analysts covering the stock. only five of then have a price target above the current level i think the analyst have to take up the numbers here. then lastly we'll go back to the tech world consumer driven out of china we like china here i think the best way to play is alibaba. another stock that basically has been spent the better part of the last 18 months just in this big base in this big range, just starting to break out. i think any consolidates back to the 50, worst case maybe 200 is an opportunity to buy the stock. stock trades about 215, 216 today. i think ultimately going to 280 or 300 so facebook, ge. baba i think three great longs for 020. >> thank you, chris. come back over to the desk and trade the information. does any of the names facebook, g

this morning mcdonald's when i was looking at dow chemical and ge, mcdonald's reported.ocused on same store sales, auld the key metric and they came in at 5% and u.s. up 6% number so good i thought it was a typo they sent me a hard copy and it is no typo it is a real thing but when i checked with the pajama traders, the people who trade before the open while they wear their doctor denton footy pajamas. they were selling it, it was down a point and a half. at first i thought there may be a catch. maybe i missed something bad in the quarter but there was no catch. the pajama clowns were down and they close up 2% and this was like taking candy from a pajama clad baby but the market subject on mcdonald's have corrected itself starbucks and amd this morning i had the privilege of interviewing both of the ceo's i spent hours working on the seven to 10 minute interviews. ask my wife, it is nuts because what is the point of having this kind of access if i don't ask the best questions for you and here is what i saw both stocks got hit today and they don't deserve it. starbucks re
