lefty o'doul's has been on geary street since 1958 but that could change next month. kron four's spencer blake is live there tonight. spencer, what's the big debate about? >> reporter:the argument is between the handlery family, which owns the building the restaurant is in, and their tenant, nick bovis. his family has been operating the restaurant for ten years. we found out last year that bovis' lease will end on february third, but it's what happens *after that that has the two sides arguing. the handlery family says, because they originally leased the space to lefty o'doul himself in the 50'sthey own the restaurant and almost everything in it. they claim that management has changed hands, but that they own the name and the restaurant. but bovis and his attorneys say that's absurd. at a press conference today, they held up the trademark document the bovis family filed with the government for the name 'lefty o'doul's.' "i've never been involved with, or even heard - and i represent both landlords and tenants, by the way - i've never heard of a landlord claiming that
